Supporting adults with anxiety, stress, relationships, life transitions and neurodivergence

Katrina is an experienced integrative psychotherapist who works with adults who may be used to holding everything together, even when doing so is taking more out of them than they let others see. She offers a calm, thoughtful space to pause, step outside the pressures of everyday life and have a more honest conversation about what is really going on.

Katrina supports clients experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, low mood, relationship difficulties, work pressures, life transitions and feelings of being stuck or disconnected. She understands the complexities of modern adult life and trying to achieve a lot — from demanding careers and family responsibilities to the quieter pressures of expectations, achievement and feeling that life has not turned out quite as anticipated.

Her approach is collaborative and grounded. Katrina works alongside her clients to bring greater clarity to what feels difficult, helping them understand their emotions, recognise patterns and reconnect with what matters to them. She is particularly thoughtful in working with people who have spent a long time managing alone, putting others first or continuing to function despite feeling increasingly depleted underneath.

Katrina also has particular experience supporting adults who are exploring neurodivergence later in life, including those considering or coming to terms with an autism or ADHD diagnosis. She works with both formally diagnosed clients and those who have begun to recognise neurodivergent traits in themselves and are seeking a better understanding of their experiences. Therapy can provide an opportunity to explore a lifetime of feeling different, misunderstood or out of step, and to consider how neurodivergence may have influenced relationships, work, identity, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Katrina draws on developmental, relational, existential and trauma-informed perspectives, adapting her approach according to the individual. She is interested not only in what is happening in the present, but also in the experiences and relationships that may have shaped how a person understands themselves and navigates the world. Her work is grounded in lived experience, curiosity and an appreciation that there is rarely a simple explanation for the difficulties we face.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, Katrina worked across the financial and creative sectors, giving her first-hand understanding of very different professional environments and the pressures that can accompany working life. She later completed an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and developed clinical experience across community, charity and research settings before moving into private practice.

Katrina is warm, grounded and thoughtful in her work. She creates a space where clients can explore things that may have been difficult to acknowledge elsewhere, without judgement or pressure to have everything figured out. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or overwhelm, navigating a significant change, questioning aspects of your identity, experiencing difficulties in your relationships, or simply feeling that something needs to change, Katrina can help you make sense of where you are and consider where you want to go next.

She offers short- and longer-term therapy, depending on the individual's needs, and sessions are available both in person and online.
