Warm, steady and deeply experienced. Working with children, adolescents, adults and families.
Suzanne is a warm, compassionate therapist with over 18 years’ experience supporting children, adolescents, adults and families across NHS, school, university and private mental health settings. She is known for her calm, grounded presence and her ability to put clients at ease, even when talking about difficult or complex feelings.
Suzanne works integratively, tailoring therapy to the needs of each individual or family. She draws on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) and Mindfulness. She places great importance on the therapeutic relationship, believing that feeling safe, heard and understood is the foundation for real emotional growth. In sessions, Suzanne balances gentle exploration with practical tools, helping clients build resilience, cope with stress, and navigate change at their own pace.
Suzanne has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including autistic children, teens and adults, and she regularly works with parents, siblings and partners to help them understand and support their loved one. In her role within CAMHS, she works in the neurodevelopmental pathway, offering thoughtful assessment and evidence-based support. She has worked with both verbal and non-verbal clients, supporting emotional development, communication, social understanding and confidence.
Suzanne also has a particular interest in working with high-achievers and young elite performers. Having competed in sport at an elite level herself, she understands the pressures of balancing training, academics, identity and expectation — and the internal stresses that often remain unseen. She supports adolescents, students and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, panic, stress, body-image concerns, perfectionism, or crises of confidence.
Clients describe Suzanne as warm, steady and respectful, with a thoughtful and encouraging style. She adapts her approach to each person — sometimes working through talking, sometimes incorporating play, creative expression or skills-based strategies — depending on what feels most helpful and supportive.
If you or your child are feeling overwhelmed, navigating stress or change, or would like a safe, understanding space to talk things through, Suzanne offers sessions for children (2–12), adolescents (13–18), adults and families. Sessions are available in person and online.
