CBT-informed | Practical, Compassionate & Insight-Led Support for Adults

Carly-Ann is a highly experienced psychotherapist, having spent 15 years supporting adults to make meaningful change, break unhelpful habits and reconnect with a stronger sense of self and wellbeing. She works with those who feel stuck in long-standing patterns such as anxiety, low mood or low self-esteem, and who are seeking a clearer, calmer and more fulfilling way of living.

Carly-Ann's approach is insightful and steady, with a strong focus on helping her clients understand the patterns that have shaped their emotional responses over time. She supports clients to become less reactive and more aware of their internal world, helping them respond with greater choice, clarity and self-compassion. Her work is particularly helpful when difficulties show up in relationships, work life or home life, or when the same challenges seem to repeat despite previous efforts to change.

Carly-Ann offers a warm, supportive therapeutic space where emotional and physical difficulties can be supported. She is attentive to how stress and anxiety can manifest in the body — such as tension, fatigue, restlessness or overwhelm — and acknowledges the strong connection between the mind and the body when supporting lasting change. As a qualified coach, she brings a practical, goal-oriented lens to her work, helping clients translate insight into meaningful action.

Her approach is heavily informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), supporting her clients to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier ways of responding, and make sustainable changes in everyday life. Clients particularly value Carly-Ann’s clear, practical style, often leaving sessions with simple, effective tools they can use immediately.

Carly-Ann is also skilled in supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD, ADD or those who are autistic. She understands the unique challenges neurodivergence may bring, especially in regards to emotional regulation, overwhelm, self-esteem and feeling misunderstood. She works in an affirming, collaborative way that builds on each client’s strengths.

Carly-Ann is incredibly passionate about supporting her clients to live lives that are grounded, balanced and aligned with who they are. She works collaboratively to help build confidence, self-understanding and the skills needed to create meaningful and lasting change — not just to cope, but to genuinely thrive.
