Warm, approachable, and collaborative; supporting adults and young people through life’s challenges.

Jayne is a compassionate therapist who works with adults and adolescents, offering a safe, non-judgemental space to talk openly about life’s challenges. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, or a general sense of being stuck, Jayne provides specialist support and guidance. She is deeply empathetic but willing to challenge patterns and behaviours that may be holding you back, helping you develop practical tools and healthier ways of coping.

Her integrative approach to therapy combines practical strategies with safe exploration of past experiences, helping clients gain insight into how earlier events may be shaping their thoughts, feelings and decisions today.

With over 20 years of experience, Jayne has worked with clients across many life stages. She has particular expertise in grief counselling and bereavement support, including loss due to illness, separation, suicide, or relocation. She also supports families affected by addiction, helping individuals manage the emotional impact of a relative’s substance use.

Jayne is highly skilled in supporting people exploring their identity or sexuality, offering a safe, non-judgemental space for those navigating shame, self-acceptance, neurodivergence or relationship/dating difficulties. She has extensive experience helping students, parents and professionals manage academic, workplace, and family pressures. Clients appreciate her calming presence, practical, down-to-earth guidance, and ability to bring humour and warmth into the sessions.

If you’re finding it difficult to open up, or you want to understand and change unhelpful patterns, Jayne offers a collaborative, supportive approach to help you gain clarity, confidence, and meaningful progress. Sessions are available in person and online.
