Tom Cleary has been working within the field of mental health and wellbeing for over 6 years, specialising in training and facilitation. In feedback, his style is described as very engaging, relatable and knowledgeable.

As a former Assistant Headteacher and Head of Learning and Development, Tom brings his education and teaching background to his training, coaching and workshops, and understands the importance of topics being delivered in a way that is understood, applicable to real life, and has a long-term positive impact on individuals and teams.

Tom’s passion for these topics comes from experiencing his own mental health challenges, as a result of which he moved from his leadership role to apply his skills to supporting others with their mental health and wellbeing. He has worked with thousands of groups and individuals across multiple sectors, from small schools to industry leaders. He is also a senior trainer and course developer with a leading mental health charity.

He combines his lived experience with professional knowledge and high-level training skills, resulting in the delivery of empowering sessions and workshops. These consistently receive very positive feedback, embedding both individual and team skills that help safeguard people’s wellbeing, prevent future problems and enable them to thrive. He is delighted to be a part of the Vitus Wellbeing team.

“Tom has been an integral part in bringing our organisations’ employee Wellbeing initiatives to life. He has gained huge credibility with our employees with his balanced approach to delivering wellbeing sessions and we look forward to continuing to work with Tom in the future.”
- Diversity and Inclusion Lead, TWI Global

“Tom's session was meaningful and timely, and was delivered expertly! Tom delivered a lunchtime session for all our staff focused on men's health, perfectly timed to coincide with International Men's Day and Movember. The session was expertly delivered, providing data and insights which were both informative and thought-provoking. I would highly recommend Tom, and am looking forward to working with him again.”
- Victoria Jackson, Director of HR, Risk & Compliance | Preston Turnbull LLP

“[Tom] is professional, reliable and thought-provoking. What’s really impressed us is how Tom listens to where we are as a school and what we are looking for and then creates a bespoke provision that really fits the bill.”
