Louise is an experienced therapist who works with children, adolescents and adults, offering a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental space to talk about what’s going on in your life. She supports clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low in mood, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. Louise works particularly well with people who put a lot of pressure on themselves to achieve or to “hold it all together,” helping them to slow down, gain perspective, and develop more sustainable ways of coping.

Louise works in an integrative way, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches and CBT, adapting the work to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. She helps clients explore how past experiences may have shaped their current emotions, beliefs or behaviours, while also offering practical strategies to manage anxiety, stress, and unhelpful thought patterns in the present. Her style is both supportive and gently challenging, helping you build insight and confidence in yourself.

With a background working in schools across London and Surrey, as well as experience in the NHS, Louise has a deep understanding of the pressures faced by children, teenagers, families and educators. She has specialist training in disordered eating and obesity, and significant experience supporting neurodivergent clients and their families, including those with ADHD and autism. She is also trauma-informed and works thoughtfully with those who may have experienced difficult or painful situations earlier in life.

Clients often describe Louise as warm, steady and reassuring — someone who can sit alongside them in challenging emotions without judgement. She is particularly passionate about supporting people who tend to internalise their struggles, whether through self-criticism, perfectionism, restricting food, withdrawing from others, or pushing themselves to burnout.
If you’re unsure where to begin, Louise will support you to explore things at your own pace. Sessions are available in person and online.
