Therapy for Adults

Find the support you need for your mental health

As adults, we're often very good at looking after others and rather poor at looking after ourselves - especially when it comes to our mental health. The goals we set ourselves are becoming incredibly high, plus we expect to juggle a career, a relationship (or dating), a family, a number of friends, numerous hobbies and still have time to unwind. It isn't easy.

When we face so many challenges (including the pandemic and cost of living crisis), it can be hard to gauge whether our responses are normal or whether they could be linked to an underlying mental health condition.

Adult clients come to therapy to deal with personal crises, to improve their relationships, to discover (or rediscover) their purpose and potential, to help with physical and emotional difficulties, behavioural problems, questions surrounding their sexuality,

and many, many other reasons.

One-to-one talking therapy can help you to become more self-aware, self-confident and self-actualised. It can also play a huge part in positive personal growth.

If your negative emotional experiences have started to interfere with daily life, it may be time to speak to a therapist. Everyone feels sad, angry, lost or in pain sometimes, and may struggle with a lack of self-esteem or self-confidence, but if those feelings start to dominate, it's probably time to seek support.

We're here to help. Our specialist therapists are highly experienced in working with a range of life's difficulties. We use psychodynamic, humanistic and existential theory, while integrating teachings and techniques from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

Every person is unique. We're proud to have a diverse team with different approaches and characteristics. We want you to feel better. We'll do our best to match you to the right therapist for you, so you get the best possible experience and the most significant results.

Your health and wellbeing is our top priority.

We are also highly experienced in working with neurodiversity and specific diagnoses - including Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, ADD and others.

We offer a safe-space for you to feel truly heard and supported, free from judgement or ridicule. We want to know what it's like to be you, living your life.
