Kerry is a skilled and experienced psychotherapist who offers warm, evidence-based support for adults navigating a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Before joining Vitus Wellbeing, she spent many years working within NHS Talking Therapies services, where she delivered high-quality interventions in line with NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidelines. Her thorough, clinical approach is matched by a calm and grounding presence that helps clients feel safe, understood, and supported from the very first session.

Kerry trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust, and later undertook specialist training in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) at the Anna Freud Centre. These two distinct but complementary models allow her to support clients in practical, goal-oriented ways while also helping them deepen their emotional insight and understand the relational patterns shaping their current struggles.

CBT helps clients recognise unhelpful thinking styles, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful, sustainable changes in day-to-day life. DIT is a time-limited, relational therapy that explores how relationship patterns and emotional experiences contribute to current difficulties. This approach helps clients gain deeper insight into their world and supports more helpful ways of understanding themselves and others. Together, these frameworks allow Kerry to tailor therapy to each individual, offering both structure and depth depending on what the client needs.

Kerry works particularly well with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, and feelings of being overwhelmed or “stuck.” Her practice is also informed by an understanding of the pressures faced by adults in city-life, especially those balancing high workloads, family responsibilities, or major life transitions.

In addition to her clinical practice, Kerry is completing further training as a Business and Occupational Psychologist. This enhances her ability to support clients dealing with workplace stress, performance pressure, career uncertainty, team or leadership challenges, and difficulties linked to organisational culture. Clients struggling with work-related fatigue or feeling emotionally drained in professional settings often find her combined expertise particularly valuable.

Kerry’s therapeutic style is calm, structured, goal-focused and collaborative. She helps clients feel more grounded, in control, and more connected to their emotional world.
